Blanka Lipińska (born July 22, 1985 in Puławy , Poland ) is a Polish writer .

Life

Blanka Lipińska graduated from school in her hometown of Puławy. She worked as a therapist, manager of a night club and from 2012 to 2019 she was a promoter for the Polish martial arts league Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki . During this time she started writing and completed her first novel in 2014.

It wasn't until four years later that someone who wanted to publish the book was found in Edipresse Polska . The love story between Don Massimo Torricelli and Laura Biel was published under the title 365 dni . Because of the blending together of controversial topics like BDSM , kidnapping, and explicit sex scenes, the book has been compared to 50 Shades of Gray . The book became a bestseller , selling over 500,000 copies in Poland, making Lipińska one of the highest paid writers in the country. Two other parts, Ten dzień and Kolejne 365 dni , completed the novel trilogy within a year.

On February 7, 2020, the literary film adaptation of the first novel, directed by Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes , was released in Polish cinemas for 365 days .
