Journalists

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A sheet maker or a sheet-maker created a newspaper (one sheet ) or gives it out as a newspaper journalist or a newspaper publisher . In earlier times the craftsman who made leaves for the looms was called leaf maker .

The creation of the paper usually means that the editor (co) decides which articles appear on the individual pages of the newspaper. The heading and possibly the introductory first lines of articles are also often formulated.

In his book Making Leaves: Building Blocks for a Theory of Journalistic Composition , Jakob JE Vicari quotes what makes a sheet of paper: Someone is perhaps “a good journalist because he recognizes topics, because he continues to turn topics, because he has a good photo in mind, because he is has a good sense of the lines. ”Vicari also cites“ the selection of the title lines ”as the task of leaf-making.
