Blickensdorf

Blickensdorf (441 m above sea level) is a village in the municipality of Baar in the Swiss canton of Zug . The name Blickensdorf comes from "Blick ins Dorf" and is intended to describe the beautiful view of the town of Baar. The city of Baar and Blickensdorf are only separated from each other by the Autobahn and the Lorze .

The closest villages are Sihlbrugg , Uerzlikon , Steinhausen and Kappel am Albis . The next larger forests are the Bachtalen .

During the battle near Blickensdorf on May 23, 1443, the village was set on fire.
