Blida ( Arabic بليدا) is a small village in South Lebanon Governorate . The place is on the western slope of a valley, about 560-580 m above sea level. It belongs to the Marj Uyun district and is located about one kilometer west of the border with Israel, on the road between Bint Jubail and Mais al-Jabal . The official language is Arabic.

Most of the residents of the village have emigrated, mainly to Brazil, France, Australia and Germany.

Due to its proximity to the border, not far from the Israeli city of Yiftah, the place is repeatedly the scene of armed conflicts. The alleged first joint action by Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah occurred on July 1, 1991 with an attack on a patrol of the Israeli army. Human Rights Watch accused the Israeli forces of bombing the site with cluster munitions on July 19, 2006 during the Second Lebanon War . According to HRW, a civilian was killed and at least twelve injured.
