Bludit is a flat file content management system that can be used to set up websites or blogs. JSON files are used to store the content . The Remote Content plug-in can also be used to publish content that is on a platform such as GitHub .
The content can be formatted either with the markdown language Markdown or with HTML code or a WYSIWYG editor. Various design templates (themes) are available for the appearance, plugins allow expansion with additional functions. Bludit is a free, open source application and is under the MIT license .
A Docker container is also available for the installation .
Specialty
At Bludit, the pages are created as "content" that can be published as posts on a blog (content sorted by date) or website (content sorted by position) or as a blog with static pages. This also allows the simple creation of a single-page web application in which the content can be used as sections of a page.
history
Bludit has been developed since 2015 by the Argentine programmer Diego Najar, who previously developed the blog software Nibbleblog. From the beginning, German-language translations were available in the versions for Germany / Austria and Switzerland , as well as a German-language sub-forum in the support forum.
