Blue Diamond Society

The Blue Diamond Society is an organization for LGBT rights in Nepal . The organization was founded in 2001. The Blue Diamond Society founded the Nepal Pride and has been organizing the demonstrations ever since. The International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission presented the Blue Diamond Society with the Felipa de Souza Award in 2007.

The Blue Diamond Society founded a travel agency with the aim of attracting tourist couples to marriages in the country. In 2011, this resulted in the first public wedding ceremony for two women in Nepal.
