Blutgeil is a Swiss amateur film with scenes of extreme violence. It is about two Zurich drug investigators who, after an attack on their headquarters in which all their colleagues are killed, begin a campaign of revenge against the drug addicts responsible. In the toilet of a relevant establishment, the two kill the junkies and dealers present. They then storm an occupied house, but are disarmed, tortured, killed and eaten by the occupiers.

The intention of the squatters from Zurich who directed the film in 1993 was to promote a social discourse on the justification of censorship and to discredit the “censorship authorities” .

The makers were sentenced to small fines for “cruel depictions of violence”. In addition, the master tapes and all copies of the film had to be destroyed, but one master tape escaped destruction, which is why the film is still available. Since one of the producers, stage name "Seelenlos", refused to pay this, his fine was commuted to imprisonment . "Soulless" used the prison stay to draw attention to the case.

The original version of the film is banned in Switzerland. A version of the film was released under the name "The Blutgeil Case", which after the main film also contains interviews and TV reports. In Germany, the film was released on the "Jung & Mutiert" VHS compilation by Splatting Image magazine.
