Blood rush stands for:

  • generally a psychological state of emergency in which particularly wild and unrestrained acts of murder and violence can be committed; insofar see also Blutrausch case
  • especially a kind of trance into which Germanic warriors supposedly could put themselves, see Furor teutonicus or Berserker for a medieval equivalent
