Bloodlust - Trapped in the house of horror is a German Independent - horror film of Stefan Svahn from the year of 2006.

action

Jan and Fedele are on their way to an old, forgotten fishing pond. What they don't know: that is exactly where Gordon Shumway recently disappeared. Arrived at the pond, they make themselves comfortable until they suddenly discover the head of the dead Gordon Shumway. They panicked and ran to the car, but there they found that someone had manipulated their engine. They try to escape from the forest on foot. On their escape they discover an old mother who takes them to their house, where they want to inform the police. In the house, however, they are knocked down by the creepy son. The bad son kills Jan with a throat cut and then dismembered the body. The mother then fries pieces of his meat and Fedele watches as his friend is eaten.

When the bad son finally wants to remove the body parts, Fedele manages to escape. But when he stopped a driver, the bad son caught him. He kills the innocent driver and Fedele is slated to be executed next. In the meantime, however, Jan's overprotective mother has alerted the police, who arrive at the house with two officers. In the ensuing battle, the officers lose their lives, but Fedele manages to kill mother and son with one of the police weapons. When the reinforcements arrive, they think Fedele is the killer and shoot him when he doesn't drop the gun fast enough. Then they are celebrated as heroes.

In the end, the supposedly dead mother opens her eyes.

Reviews

On Maslohs.de, Benedikt Bursch rated the film as better than the main film as part of the re-release of The Lost Way of the Zombies : “The strip, which is very much tailored to MOTHER'S DAY, is sometimes really exciting and comes up with flawless special effects. Svahn, who quotes his cinematic influences one after the other, succeeds in creating effective atmospheres that are rather rare in the 'amateur field'. The surprising ending works with only a few concessions, Romero sends his regards. "
