Bluval
Bluval - International Music Festival takes place annually in September in the "Straubinger Land", ie in the city of Straubing and in the district of Straubing-Bogen . A wide variety of ensembles play for three weeks and present predominantly wind music from classical , jazz , traditional and sacred music . In the weeks before the so-called Bluval Saturday, the last Saturday in September, and on this main day itself, over 50 international and regional ensembles perform and make music in concert halls, churches and tavernsand in public places. The festival takes place for the 25th time in 2019 and is attended by around 10,000 guests every year.
