Bo Gunnar Liedberg

Bo Gunnar Liedberg (also Bo Liedberg or Bo G. Liedberg ; born October 16, 1954 in Västervik , Sweden ) is a Swedish physicist in the field of molecular physics .

Liedberg received a Master of Science degree in Physics and Electrical Engineering from the Linköping Institute of Technology at Linköping University in 1981 . In 1986 he received his Ph.D. in Applied Physics also awarded at Linköping University. In 1990 he became a lecturer in the same position.

Awards

  • 1989 Berol Nobel Research Award for the best PhD thesis in Surface and Colloid Chemistry within Scandinavia
  • 1998 Best teacher within the Technical Biology program, 4: th year.
  • 2000 Teaching award: “Gyllene moroten” candidate Technical Biology program.
  • 2005 Distinguished scientific accomplishments in Sensor Science and Molecular Physics research, awarded by the National Research Council of Italy (CNR)
