Bob Dixon

Bob Dixon (actually Robert S. Dixon; * 1907 or 1908 ; † January 11, 1941 in Big Isle , Manitoba ) was a Canadian javelin thrower .

In 1934 he became Canadian champion and won the British Empire Games in London .

The athlete from Lulu Island died at the age of 33 as a Royal Canadian Air Force pilot in the crash of an aircraft under test.
