Bob Finlay

Bob Finlay (actually Robert Finlay; born August 3, 1943 in London , United Kingdom ) is a former Canadian long-distance runner .

Over 5000 m he was fourth at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg in 1967 , eleventh at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City and ninth at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 .

At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, he was eliminated over 5000 m in the preliminary run.

In 1968 and 1969 he was Canadian champion over 5000 m and 1970 in cross country .
