Bob Godwin (* 5. May 1911 in Moultrie , Georgia , USA ; † 1. August 1980 ) was an American boxer in the light heavyweight division .
On March 1, 1933 he beat Joe Knight over 10 rounds on points and was thereby world champion of the NBA (the NBA was called in 1962 to WBA). In the same month there was the title union with the reigning NYSAC world champion Maxie Rosenbloom . Rosenbloom won this fight in the fourth round by technical knockout.
