New York State Athletic Commission

The New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) is a host of boxing , martial arts master and wrestling , in 1963 the establishment of the Boxverbands World Boxing Council supported (WBC) and since 1979 leads not have its own boxing champion more.

The organization was founded in 1920. In addition to the NBA , which was founded a year later and renamed the WBA in 1962 , the NYSAC was the only significant world association in professional boxing at the time . The boxer, who held these two belts in one weight class at the same time , was the undisputed world champion in this weight class.
