Bobbing is a village and civil parish in the Borough of Swale in Kent in England. The village with 1,969 inhabitants (Census 2011) is located in the immediate vicinity of Sittingbourne .
The origins of the St Bartholomew Church probably date back to the 12th century. The oldest components still visible today are believed to have been made between 1234 and 1250. Some parts of the church windows are dated to the 14th century. In a picture from the beginning of the 19th century, the church is shown with a high, pointed steeple.
