Bobby Burg (born October 5, 1977 in Ohio ) is an American musician and has been involved in numerous emo - indie rock projects in Chicago .

Career

Bobby Burg recorded his first solo tapes in 1994 and played guitar in his first band Nobody's Hero in 1995 . From 1995 to 1996 he was a member of the Jawa Sandcrawler band , but repeatedly tried his hand at being a solo musician. He made his first professional recordings in 1997 with Beauty Pageant , where he played with Derek Erdman under changing line-ups until 1999.

In 1999, Bobby Burg founded his emo band, Love of Everything , to develop his own song ideas, and his own record company, Record Label , to implement these ideas according to his own ideas. As a band leader, he also took on the vocal part and soon released his first long player. The Hertzsprung Gap remained just a one-time experiment, as Burg wanted to continue to concentrate on his band Love of Everything.

In 2003, childhood friend Tim Kinsella was able to win him over to his band projects Make Believe and Joan of Arc , in which Sam Zurick and Tim's cousin Nate Kinsella also participated. Later, Make Believe's bandmates also played on some of the recordings of Love of Everything. In 2004 Burg also toured Europe.
