Nate Kinsella
Nate Kinsella (born March 19, 1980 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American emo musician and involved in several important music projects. His cousins Tim Kinsella and Mike Kinsella are also musicians.
Career
Nate Kinsella began his musical career in 1998 with the Decembers Architects , where he played drums until 2000 and recorded some tapes with Nathan Holtz as singer, Mark Swoverland on guitar and a constantly changing line-up on electric bass . In 2001 he founded the band Mata Hari together with Tim Cronin, the last bassist with the Decembers Architects, and Kai Benson . In the same year the group released a long player which, like the previous recordings, had been mixed and produced by Nate Kinsella. Then Kinsella played again with Holtz and Swoverland at the Decembers Architects, whose last publication in 2002 contributed to the compilationPop for Charity: Sound was.
From 2004 onwards, Nate Kinsella was regularly involved in the recordings of Joan of Arc and Make Believe , experimental emo bands founded by his cousins Mike and Tim Kinsella. Here Nate Kinsella showed his musical talent when he played piano , keyboard , electric bass and guitar in addition to the drums . In 2005 he accompanied his cousins on their solo recordings, in 2006 also Bobby Burg on his solo project Love of Everything . In 2007 Nate Kinsella released his own solo LP The Layer as Birthmark , which is distributed by the German label Coraille . In DUNIX the LP is also available as vinyl.
