Bobby Coffman
Bobby Coffman (born February 17, 1951 ) is a former American decathlete .
In 1979 he won the Pan American Games in San Juan .
In 1980 the US boycott prevented participation in the Moscow Olympics . He won the alternate Liberty Bell Classic.
In 1979 and 1980 he was US champion.
His personal best of 8248 points (8274 points in the old rating) he set up on August 12, 1979 in Québec .
