Bobo und die Hasenbande is an animated series based on the books by Józesf Nepp , Eberhard Naumann, which were published by Verlag W. Fischer in 1995. The series tells the story of a small dog that was simply abandoned by its owner during the holiday season. Bobo is adopted by a rabbit family and experiences all kinds of adventures.

Two films have been released for the series. Bobo and the Rabbit Band was released on September 7, 1995 and was released on DVD on September 12, 1996. The film had 160,000 visitors in Germany and 25,000 in Austria. Bobo and the Rabbits 2 - Adventure in the Forest was released in 1997. The soundtrack for the film Bobo and the Rabbits was written by Wolfgang von Henko. The dialogues have been changed slightly in the German and English versions. The series and the two feature films were broadcast in many European countries (e.g. Poland, Spain, Italy and others) and also in the USA and released on DVD.
