The Bochumer Stadt- & Studierendenzeitung (spelling : bsz ) is the second oldest continuously appearing student newspaper in the German-speaking area (since February 1967). It is published by the General Student Committee (AStA) at the Ruhr University Bochum . The newspaper appears weekly during the semester and every two weeks during the semester break with a circulation of 2,500 copies and is distributed free of charge at the Ruhr University. Furthermore, the: bsz sees itself as a link between the university and the city of Bochum , which is why the newspaper is also displayed in localities in downtown Bochum (primarily in the Bermuda3eck pub district ).
