Bogle (dancer)

Bogle , actually Gerald Levy (* 1965 - January 20, 2005 in Kingston ) was a Jamaican dancer in the Jamaican dancehall scene and the leader of the Black Roses crew .

He grew up in the Kingston ghettos and became hugely popular through dancing. Many famous dances were invented by him. His famous dance creations include: the “log on” , the “zip it up” , the “pop it” and the “Bogle” . He knew many dancehall artists personally and they used his dances in their songs. Bogle was murdered in a drive-by shoot at a gas station in Kingston .
