Boikot is a Spanish left wing punk band from Madrid .

Band history

In 1987 the group started with small gigs in bars. This was followed by major appearances in the Spanish capital. In 1995 they separated from their original label Barrabás . The band decided to record three albums with South American influences. The band also went on a big South America tour to countries like Cuba , Colombia and Argentina . In addition to punk, South American influences (rhythms and instruments) can be found in the band's music. The band also uses instruments from the Balkan Peninsula .

Influences

In addition to South American influences, the group was also influenced by bands such as The Clash , Nirvana or Barricada .
