Boise Idaho Temple (English: Boise Idaho Temple ) is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Boise , consecrated in 1984.

Construction of the temple was announced on March 31, 1982. A design was chosen for the construction plan that was used by many LDS temples from that time. On December 18, 1982, the building site was consecrated under the Apostle Mark E. Petersen and the first groundbreaking ceremony was carried out. In 1984 the temple was completed. The dedicatory ceremonies were held between May 25 and May 30 under Apostle Gordon B. Hinckley . In 1987 the temple was expanded and rededicated.

The Boise Idaho Temple is a marble-clad building with a slate roof. It is flanked by six narrow towers, the tallest of which is 34 meters (112 feet) and bears a Moroni statue. The area of ​​the temple is about 3,300 square meters (35,868 square feet), which includes four ordinance rooms and four sealing rooms.
