The FK Shakhtar-Bolat Temirtau ( Kazakh Футбол клубы Шахтёр-Болат Теміртау Futbol kluby Shakhtar-Bolat Temirtau , Russian Футбольный клуб Шахтёр-Булат Темиртау Futbolny club Shakhtar-Bulat Temirtau ) (also FK Bolat CSKA (2004) and FK Bolat MSK (2005) ) is a Kazakh football club from the central Kazakh industrial city of Temirtau .
history
The association was founded in 1961 as Metallurg Temirtau. From 1969 to 1977 the club was called Stroitel Temirtau. In 1978 it was renamed Bolat Temirtau again. During the Soviet era, the club won the Kazakh Cup seven times , including five consecutive times from 1972 to 1976. From 1992 to 1998 the team played in the Premjer League . The best placement was achieved with seventh place in the 1994 season. In 1995 and 1996, the team occupied the penultimate place in the table, but was able to keep the class due to an expansion of the highest Kazakh league and from and because of forced transfers of other clubs. After the 1998 season , Bolat was finally relegated to the second-rate first division . In 2004 the championship of the first division was won and defeated 2-1 in the playoff for the promotion of FK Alma-Ata . Thus, the team returned to the Kazakh elite class of the 2005 season, but lost 29 of 30 season games there in a draw with eventual champions FK Aqtöbe , finished last at the end of the season and consequently rose again. In the 2008 season, the club reached eleventh place and in the following year sixth place.
