The FK Kaspij Aqtau ( Russian Футбольный клуб Каспий Актау ) is a Kazakh football club from Aktau , which currently plays in the second highest Kazakh league .
history
Name development
Founded in 1979 as Trud Shevchenko (Труд Шевченко), the team was renamed FK Aqtau (ФК Актау) in 1990 . After three years the club was established in Munaischy Aktau (Мунайши Актау). In 2001 it was renamed Mangystau Aqtau (Мангыстау Актау). The team has had its current name since 2002.
Kazakh championship
At the moment the team plays in the second Kazakh league, with the team having played five seasons in the Kazakh premier league and in the 1996 season with fourth place had their best result so far.

The club plays its home games in the Schastar Stadium . The stadium has space for 3,500 spectators.
