history

Bandy is not the only sport in the club, but none of the others have achieved equal success. The team played their first match in 1906 and several more in the following years. The regular game operation did not begin until the 1920s, followed by the first victory in the regional championship in 1992. After that, Bollnäs GoIF won ten regional championships in a row.

On March 1, 1931, the team completed a qualifying game against a club from Kronoberg for inclusion in the highest bandy league (at that time still Division I ), which was won 2-0. The club had a national supremacy in the 1950s, which was underlined by the championship wins in 1951 and 1956.

Another highlight was winning the Ljusdal World Cup in 2005.
