Bolota Asmerom (born October 12, 1978 in Asmara ) is a retired Eritrean - American athlete . He had specialized in long-distance running.
biography
Bolota Asmerom attended McAteer High School in San Francisco with his brother Yonathan and later studied at the University of California, Berkeley . At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney , he started in the 5000 meter race . However, with 32nd place, he did not achieve a medal. He became a citizen of the United States in May 2002 and started for the United States.
