Bolshaya Lopatka
Bolschaja Lopatka ( Russian Большая Лопатка ) is a naval base of the Northern Fleet in the fjord Sapadnaja Liza on the Barents Sea .
The base was established in the 1960s and is one of the more modern and larger complexes in the fjord. It has eight piers, a dry dock and two storage facilities. Radioactive waste is also temporarily stored here.
