Bombus sporadicus is a species of bumblebees in the systematic group of bees (Apiformes).

distribution

In Europe , this species can be found in Norway , Sweden , Finland and Russia , there especially in the northern regions. There are also known populations in the People's Republic of China (from the Xinjiang Autonomous Region to the east coast).

description

This bumblebee is medium-sized with a short tongue and a black to dark brown base color. It has a beige collar and a beige band that extends from the back of the central body to the middle of the back of the body. This is followed by a narrower black to dark brown stripe and a white tip of the rump. Bombus sporadicus is very similar to the light yellow bumblebee , but the rear yellow band of this species only begins on the abdomen and is narrower.
