Bondye

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Creole expression Bondye , Bondyè or Bondyé (French Bon Dieu for "good God"), synonym Gran Met ("great master"), is the term for God in Haitian Voodoo .

Bondye is not directly involved in human affairs from a voodoo perspective. The mediation between the one God and the people take over as Loa designated spirit beings known as Manifestations of God are considered. Bondye himself is considered to be the creator of the world, which he keeps in balance. It should exist far from humans.
