The Floribunda rose 'Bonica' 82 ' , also ' Demon ' or ' Bonica Meidiland ' , was introduced by Meilland in 1982. It is a descendant of ( Rosa sempervirens × 'Mlle Marthe Caron') × 'Picasso'. Its flowers are medium-sized, double, bright pink and grow in clusters of five to ten each. It grows 40 to 60 cm high and is suitable for large areas, tubs, as a rose hedge, on graves and as a cut rose .
'Bonica' 82 'is easy to care for, can tolerate partial shade , robust, permanent flowering, very frost hardy, resistant to black soot, tolerates salt; it is only conditionally resistant to powdery mildew .
In 2003 she was elected World Rose .
