Boogarins are a Brazilian psychedelic rock band. The band is named after a jasmine flower .

history

The band was founded in Goiânia in 2012 by the two musicians Dinho Almeida (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Benke Ferraz (guitar). Both had known each other since childhood. Hans Castro (drums) and Raphael Vaz (bass) joined them later. In 2014 Ynaiã replaced Benthroldo Castro.

The first EP, recorded at home, As Plantas Que Curam , was released in 2013, when Almeida and Ferraz were still in school. After the release, the band received a record deal with the Other Music label. Her debut album As Plantas Que Curam was released in 2013. A second album followed in 2015. The third album Lá Vem a Morte was released on YouTube .
