Bobbin Island (from English boot ' boots ' ) is a boot-shaped island off the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It belongs to the Rauer Islands and is located immediately southwest of Pchelka Island .
Australian scientists named them descriptively after their shape.
