St. Boris and Gleb is a Russian Orthodox cathedral and main church in the Latvian city of Daugavpils . It can hold up to 5,000 believers.

The house of God stands - together with the Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception , the Evangelical Martin Luther Cathedral and the House of Prayer of the Old Orthodox - on the church hill. The church was built from 1905 for the Russian garrison in the Neo-Russian style. The church, financed by the military, was consecrated on July 25, 1905 to Saints Boris and Gleb and the Moscow Metropolitan Alexius .

The dominant colors are sky blue and white. The domes of the ten onion domes are gold-plated. The icons of the oak iconostasis are probably copies made by Viktor Mikhailovich Vasnetsov from the St. Vladimir's Cathedral in Kiev .

The previous church, built in 1866 and dedicated to Constantine the Great and his mother Helena , was located on the site of today's church . It was also a Russian garrison church.
