Boris Dommenget
Boris Dommenget (* 1960 ) is a German guitar and pickup manufacturer from Balje .
Boris Dommenget did an apprenticeship as a plucked instrument maker. In the 1980s he lived in London for five years , where he worked as a guitar maker and restorer. For several years he was guitarist with the Bollock Brothers . In the early 1990s he moved to Hamburg, where he opened his first own guitar workshop and built guitars for bands such as Bon Jovi , Metallica and Status Quo . Since 2000 he has been building models for the Scorpions , such as an acoustic Flying V for Rudolf Schenker , a Travel Mini and the Mastercaster Strat for Matthias Jabs . To date (as of 2013) he has built around 100 guitars for the Scorpions. For example, he also builds the Sky guitars for Uli Jon Roth . Today he works exclusively on further developments and new developments of guitars and pickups.
