Boris Rufimowitsch Weinberg

Boris Rufimowitsch Weinberg ( Russian Борис Руфимович Вайнберг , English transcription Boris Rufimovich Vainberg ; * 1938 ) is a Russian mathematician who deals with analysis and mathematical physics ( partial differential equations , scatter theory).

He received his doctorate from Lomonossow University under Samari Alexandrowitsch Galpern . He taught for a long time at Lomonosov University and went to the University of Delaware as a visiting professor in 1991 . He later became a professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte .
