Born is a small impact crater near the eastern edge of the moon . It lies northeast of the striking Langrenus Crater and south of the Maclaurin Crater .
Born is circular and essentially cup-shaped. Except for dark spots that extend from the center to the northeastern edge, the crater has no special features.
Marriage Born in 1979 by the International Astronomical Union received (IAU) his own name, he was under the name Maclaurin Y known.
