Bornholm cable

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Bornholm cable is a 60 kV cable that connects the Bornholm and Sweden power grids . It includes one of the longest three-phase - submarine earth.

The Bornholm cable begins in the 60 kV Hasle substation ( ) and runs over a length of 1.4 kilometers as an underground cable with a cross-section of 400 square millimeters of copper per conductor to the Baltic Sea . A cable with a cross section of 240 mm² is used for the 43.5 kilometer long submarine cable section. From the Swedish landing point, a 700 meter long underground cable leads to a cable terminal ( ) southeast of Borrby, from where the line is a 60 kV overhead line with conductors with 127 mm² copper to the 132 kV / 60 kV substation Borrby ( ) leads. This is fed from the Swedish 132 kV load distribution substation Tomelilla ( ) via a two-circuit 132 kV line.
