Boston Pizza is a Canadian franchise chain that operates restaurants in Canada , the United States and Mexico . Pizza, pasta, burgers and ribs are on offer. The Greek immigrant Gus Agioritis chose the name when the company was founded in 1964 because he believed that the sports teams from the American city of Boston were very popular in Canada, otherwise the company has nothing to do with the city.
