The association was founded in 1977 and is under the police of the country. The club is also called "The Jungle Kings". The club had its greatest success in 2006 when they won the Botswana Premier League . The successes made it possible to qualify several times for the African competitions, but always failed in the first round of the game. In 2011 the club had to relegate, but rose again in 2012 to the Premier League.
