The National Stadium of Botswana ( English Botswana National Stadium ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Gaborone , the capital of Botswana . Mainly football matches of the Botswana national football team are played there; it is the national stadium .
The field is surrounded by racetracks and a baseball field , which can be found outside the stands in the east. The baseball field, which has not been used for a long time, has now been converted into a tennis court .
The stadium offers 22,500 spectators, making it the largest stadium in Botswana. It has ten stands , three of which are covered. The northern and southern ends of the stadium are each made up of three large stands. At the western end of the stadium are the only three covered grandstands, while in the east there is a very large grandstand.
