The Boulder Cones (English for Brockenkegel ) are a group of mountain cones on the Antarctic Ross Island . They rise 1.4 km southwest of Castle Rock on the Hut Point Peninsula .
The name was given by the Australian geologist and geographer Frank Debenham during the British Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) when surveying the Hut Point Peninsula in 1912.
