Bounos

Bounos ( old Gr . Βουνός = hill ; Latin Bunus ) was the son of Hermes and Alkidamaia in Greek mythology . When Aietes , the king of Corinth , left the city, he handed the government over to Bounos. On the way from Corinth up to Akrokorinth he founded a sanctuary for Hera , which was named after him Bounaia.

After his death the rule fell to Epopeus , king of Sicyon .
