Bountiful Utah Temple is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints in Bountiful , which was inaugurated 1995th

The construction of the temple was announced on April 6, 1991. A site on the eastern edge of the city was chosen as the building site. Parts of the design developed by architect Allen Ereckson were also used for the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple . The ground was inaugurated on the day of the first groundbreaking, May 2, 1992, by then LDS President Ezra Taft Benson . The temple was completed in 1994. After the open house in the fall of 1994, the new president, Howard W. Hunter , held the dedication between January 8 and 14, 1995.

The outside of the Bountiful Utah Temple is clad with Bethel White granite. It includes a baptismal font, a celestial hall, four endowment rooms and eight sealing rooms. The total floor area is approximately 9,660 m² (104,000 square feet). The tower is 53.6 meters high and has a golden Moroni statue at its top .
