Remarks

The work was created on the occasion of the naming ceremony of Archduchess Sophie , the mother of the emperor. Due to bad weather the work was premiered a little late. It was originally announced under the title Flower Quadrille . At the world premiere, however, it already had its current name.

The playing time on the CD listed under itemization is 5 minutes and 23 seconds. This time can vary somewhat depending on the conductor's musical conception.
