The Boutan Rocks are a small group of reef rocks off the Danco coast of West Antarctic Graham Land . They are 2.5 km southwest of Bruce Island .

The archipelago is first listed on an Argentine map from 1954, unnamed. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the French naturalist Louis Boutan (1859-1934), a pioneer of underwater photography .
