The Boutique Bizarre is an erotic and fetish shop based in Hamburg. It has a sales area of ​​1400 m² on two levels. In terms of the retail space, the Bizarre boutique is Europe's largest sex shop. It is operated by "Die Fünfunddreissig Handelsgesellschaft mbH".

history

Founded in 1990 on the Reeperbahn , the Bizarre boutique developed through constant expansion into a company that offers sex toys , books, films, lingerie , corsets and erotic evening wear for adults. The basement covers a special area with its BDSM , fetish and latex range. Vernissages and exhibitions of erotic art, photography and cultural events take place in the gallery of the Bizarre boutique. She is a partner of the annual Hamburg Burlesque Festival under the direction of Marlene von Steenvag, as well as the Lesbian and Gay Film Days Hamburg and offers BDSM seminars by Matthias TJ Grimme . Located on the Reeperbahn, the shop is visited by hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.

In 2001 an online shop with international shipping was added. A relaunch took place in 2017, adding an editorial blog to the boutique Bizarre website. In addition, the boutique Bizarre has been producing new product videos every month since then with the 50s pin-up girl “Fräulein Fabelhaft”, which can be accessed on the in-house video channel, on YouTube , on the Joyclub partner page and on Facebook .
