Bowal

As Bowal (plural: Bowe ) is referred to in West Africa a special Savannah type on waterlogged, thin floors over Lateritkrusten . The vegetation is mainly characterized by sweet grasses and sour grasses , there are usually no woody plants, but there are often carnivorous plants . In addition, the proportion of annual plants and those with a C 4 metabolism is comparatively higher than in other savannas.
