The Glasenbach Bridge is a stone arch bridge in the area of Glasenbach , a district of the Austrian municipality of Elsbethen , south of the city of Salzburg . It has a length of 18 m and an arch height of 5.5 m.
The bridge spans the Klausbach , which flows through the Glasenbachklamm and flows into the Salzach . The building was erected between 1953 and 1954 and replaced a wooden bridge that had previously been repeatedly destroyed by floods.
The Glasenbach bridge plays an important role for traffic in the southern Salzburg region. The Halleiner Landesstraße (L 105), which connects the city of Salzburg with the Tennengau district capital Hallein , runs over it - the only street on the right bank of the Salzach between these cities.
